The canal footpath to the sea, designated ‘Fareham Footpath 51’ is currently closed to walkers
The period of closure is from Monday 6th September for a period of five days or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
The work involves the removal of Ash trees that have Ash dieback.
Walkers can still use part of the route up to the actual closure.
