As part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations St Peter’s Church are organising a ‘Scarecrow Trail’ around the village.
Residents are being invited to build and display a scarecrow on the theme of ‘Great British Traditions’ which is open to anyone living in the parish of Titchfield.
The scarecrows will be on display in the Church grounds and all around the village from the 28th May to the 5th June from 10am to 4pm daily.
Visitors will be invited to follow the trail and take part in a competition to ‘Guess the title of the scarecrows’ they find.
To enter the competition please read the competition rules by visiting St Peter’s web and then completing the entry form.
You will also find some guidance on how to build a scarecrow and where you can obtain straw.
The fee for a household/business/organisation to enter a single scarecrow into the competition is £5.
The fee for visitors to enter the ‘Guess the title of the scarecrows’ competition is £5 per family/entry.
